Black history bingo event a success

Over 30 students attended a Black History Bingo event organized by Black Students and Allies on Sunday evening.

The event was a part of the group’s ongoing activities in honor of Black History Month this February. Facts about influential African Americans were read and players matched those facts with the names on their bingo cards. BSA provided prizes, cookies and drinks to attendees and three rounds of bingo were played.

Prizes included movies, candy, laundry baskets and detergent, gift cards, a Roku, and a bluetooth speaker. There was also an opportunity to win a $25 gift card by buying a $1 raffle ticket.
