WINONA, Minn. — It’s time to take one final look back at the highlights of the week that was — by the numbers.

3: Jenna Sullivan (Woodbury, Minn.) recorded her third double-double of the season vs. Ripon, collecting 12 kills and 11 digs in the Cardinal volleyball team’s 3-0 win over the Red Hawks last Saturday at the Ripon Red Hawk Invitational.

3: Blake Westerberg (Red Wing, Minn.) placed tied for third out of 110 golfers at the Saint John’s Invitational last weekend. Westerberg opened the two-day event with a three-over-par 75 on Saturday, and followed that up with an even-par 72—one shot off his collegiate low round—in Sunday’s final round.

3: Jim Dreshar (Hugo, Minn.) scored his team-leading third goal of the season in the Cardinal men’s soccer team’s loss to Saint John’s last Saturday. Dreshar, who scored two goals in 16 games a year ago, has now recorded at least one point in four of the Cardinals’ six games this season.

9: Aubrie Cornell (Columbia, Mo.) recorded nine saves in the Cardinal women’s soccer team’s 1-0 conference-opening loss to defending MIAC champion and 19th-ranked Augsburg last Tuesday. It was the second straight game in which Cornell made nine saves—the junior stopped nine Carroll shots in Saint Mary’s 2-1 nonconference win on Sept. 12.
